Tatiana Oliveira Simonian is a senior executive in marketing and business development. She has worked for major corporations such as Twitter, Disney, Hot Topic, Nielsen and Tumblr. Simonian's area of expertise is creative campaign development via entertainment that drives high growth and revenue in the digital space. Simonian was the first music hire in the history of major social platforms when she joined Twitter as Head of Music in 2011. She loves building and leading people with empathy and pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Her work has been covered in numerous outlets, won Webby Awards and she was named the Leading Woman in Social Media Engagement by Billboard Magazine. She is also on the advisory board of the music start up, Vinyl Me, Please.

Prior to her 15 year career in tech, Simonian was a music journalist and touring musician. She wrote for LA Weekly, LA Times, Rolling Stone and was associate editor of Anthem Magazine. During this time, she also ran a successful digital marketing consultancy that counted the Smashing Pumpkins, British band Placebo, vegan restaurant chain Native Foods and more as clients.

Tatiana is a sought-after public speaker on the subjects of mindfulness in a digital age, ethics in social media and cultivating work/life balance. She is on the board of several non profits related to arts education for under-served communities and a Luminary donor for the Step Up Women’s Network non profit. In addition, she runs a life coaching practice and blog called Womentorship.
